A perennial crowd favourite, these stunning light presentations include diving penguins, a fiery sea dragon, bouncing kiwis and leaping deer. Live entertainment every night at 9.00pm.

• Saturday 11 December 2004
  Carols by Candlelight with the Hastings Citizens Band and guest artists. Santa arrives on his sleigh at 9.30pm to switch on 300,000 lights.
• Saturday 18 December 2004
  89FM Classic Hits Christmas Fireworks Extravaganza to music at 9.45pm Arrive earli to avoide parking delays. Entertainment starts at 9pm.
• Friday 31 December 2004
  New Year’s Eve. First Night Hastings. Join our 7th annual alcohol free family celebration to welcome the New Year with art, music, ritual and two fireworks shows, one early at 9.30pm just for the kiddies.
• Saturday 8 January 2005
  89FM Thunder Over Hawke’s Bay Fireworks Show. Be in the front row and centre, at an eye popping, heart-stopping and thunderous fireworks spectacular to music – 9.45pm. Entertainment starts at 9pm.

No alcohol, glass or pets in the grounds

Dress comfortably and wear walking shoes. Hot food, beverages and toilets available. Picnics welcome. Gates open 8.30pm. Best viewing is after dark from 9pm.
